PALAGINA was born in 1981 thanks to the resourcefulness of the founders: Carlo and Marcello Francalanci. The business began in Ponte a Cappiano as a strictly family carpentry shop. In 1985 the whole family was involved in the company and the first mosquito nets began to be marketed using bar products and semi-finished products. At the beginning of the 90s the company definitively dedicated itself to the production of its own items. Continuous internal research and development has led to improvements in products and to the registration of some PALAGINA patents and systems. Today the company has more than 250 people in offices, production, transport and R&D.

Venus Design was born from the initiative of three partners in 1976 for the sanding of components intended for the furniture industry. In 2012 a new shareholder structure prepares a development and investment plan, in order to achieve important objectives of acquiring market shares and implementing a quality management system.
